Few words are able to describe the scene of a new sun rising over a beautiful landscape, especially when that landscape is the Pittsburgh skyline.  No matter how difficult it might be to get out of bed early enough to experience a view like this, it’s definitely worth the trouble.

There are very few cloudless evenings during the winter in Pittsburgh.  However, just before the “Snowmaggedon” Blizzard of last month one of those nights surprised me so I took advantage of it.  There are very few views of the Pittsburgh Skyline as brilliant as the one found at Washington’s Landing.  Take a look at what I mean.

Nothing quite like a spring evening in the golden triangle.  Enjoy!

It’s the first of March and we’re still in the midst of a classic Pittsburgh winter.  There’s no telling when the snow will melt away to give life to another picture perfect spring season, but hopefully these images will serve as a slight reprieve from the cold until it does.
