Until some time early next year I am deployed to the desert as part of my service as a Chaplain in the U.S. Air Force. I desperately miss the people, places, and things of Pittsburgh, but as they say “distance makes the heart grow fonder.” Even though I’m away from my favorite photographic subject, I continue to work on my photography. If you would like to see just a small glimpse at what I’m shooting until my return to the Steel City click here. I appreciate all the support and look forward to getting back home to continue the work of Focused on the Point Photography.

April 9, 2011It’s been far too long since some “Pittsburgh” images have been uploaded. Well now that I think it’s safe to say that the snow is done and the ice is officially melted I can assure you I’ll be out and about this great city exploring for some new great photographs to share. Here are a few from my annual attendance at the Pirates Home Opener. It was a beautiful day for a game. Just a shame we lost so badly. I have a feeling this team will do something special, though. This may be the team that changes the tide for Pirates baseball. We shall see… Either way, it’s good to be back at the ballpark. Let’s Go Bucs!
