A friend of mine is putting together a book of cookie recipes and asked me to photograph some of the “subjects.” Working out the fee for a shoot like this is pretty much a no brainer. Mmm!

Focused on the Point is the photographic gallery/blog of Tom Fodi; a man with a passion for photography and Pittsburgh. Whether it's a stunning view of the Pittsburgh skyline, something that catches my eye as I explore this great city, a significant event, or just a relatively interesting image, Focused on the Point serves as the outlet by which I can share what my eye and camera lens see.
If a particular image catches your eye and you'd like to purchase a print, if there's a particular image you're searching for and don't see it here, or if you have an event or some portraits you'd like photographed please contact me at tom@focusedonthepoint.com. No request is too large or too small. I am happy to consider pretty much anything.

The Schuljak family called me a week ago looking for some last minute Christmas portraits taken on Mt. Washington overlooking the Pittsburgh skyline. Flying in from Texas, the family was only going to be in Pittsburgh for a few days so there weren’t many options when it came to opportunities to shoot. We picked a day and prayed the weather would cooperate. Well, as you will see, the whether didn’t exactly cooperate, but I think it made the portraits that much more eye catching. What do you think?
